5hampooch: Services and options

All prices are intended to be indicative only and do not necessarily reflect the amount payable on the day of your groom. Discounts due to ease of grooming, regular bookings etc. are at the discretion of the manager on site. Extra fees may be payable for things like severe matting of the coat, behavioural issues requiring extra time or a second person to assist with the service, fleas and other things that require more time than a standard service would take.

All baths are performed with warm water, and all products used are top quality to ensure a great result every time.

service guide

    • Bath and blow dry- includes ear clean and nail trim
    • Bath and towel dry- includes ear clean and nail trim
    • Bath and tidy-up groom- includes a face, feet and hygiene area clip and tidy up, ear clean and nail trim
    • Bath and full groom, not styled or breed specific- includes a basic full body clip to your desired length, unless matting is present, head and face trim in current style/shape, ear clean and nail trim
    • Bath and style groom- includes a styled full body clip (lamb cut, teddy bear cut, basic breed cut, or a style different to that which your dog already has) includes ear clean and nail trim.
    • Bath and de-shed- mostly for double-coated dogs, but can also benefit smooth-coated dogs- includes bath with de-shedding treatments, blow dry and full brush out of dead coat, ear clean and nail trim

    • Poodle face/feet
    • Flea treatment- Preventative only, if your dog has fleas they will be turned away until they are under control, to keep our other customer’s pets safe.

Price Guide-

    • Bath and blow dry- Extra small dog starts at $50, Small dog starts at $60, Medium dog starts at $70, Large dog starts at $80, Extra large dog starts at $90, Giant breeds (XXL) start at $1000. This service will be provided for short coated breeds and dogs with NO matting only!
    • Bath and towel dry- Extra small dog starts at $40, Small dog starts at $50, Medium dog starts at $60, Large dog starts at $70, Extra large dog starts at $80, Giant breeds (XXL) start at $90. This service will be provided for short coated breeds and dogs with NO matting only!
    • Bath and de-shed- Extra small starts at $110, Small starts at $115, Medium starts at $125, Large starts at $135, Extra large starts at $150, Giant breeds start at $160. In some cases the charge will be based on the time taken to complete the work and this is at $110/hr.
    • Bath and tidy- Extra small starts at $80, Small starts at $90, Medium starts at $100, Large starts at $110, Extra large starts at $120, Giant breeds start at $130.
    • Bath and full groom- Extra small starts at $105, Small starts at $110, Medium starts at $120, Large starts at $130, Extra large starts at $135, Giant breeds start at $145.
    • Bath and style/breed specific groom- Extra small starts at $115, Small starts at $120, Medium starts at $130, Large starts at $140, Extra large starts at $150, Giant breeds start at $160.

Matting surcharge starts at $20 and may increase in extremely severe cases due to taking extra time and extra wear and tear on equipment. More accurate pricing will be provided upon coat inspection at pre-groom consult.
